Jihadi Network in Assam: Afsar Uddin got huge Funds from Mumbai to run Madrasa

As investigation continues, more and more shocking revelations are coming. Afsar Uddin, close aide of Mufti Mostafa, who run Jamiul Huda madrasa in Morigaon, got huge funds from Mumbai.

According to Morigaon SP Aparna N, Afsar Uddin has close links with Mufti Mostafa. He transferred huge amount of money to Mostafa's bank account. All the money is used to run the Madrasa. 

But from where he got the money? According to Police, during interrogation, Afsar Uddin said that he worked in Mumbai for seven years. There in Naka Worli area, he worked in a mosque as well as he studied in a Madrasa. He had many connections there.

When they needed money to run the Madrasa, he visited Mumbai and collected money from different people. In this purpose, he visited Mumbai off and on. And those money were transferred to Mustafa. As per bank statement acquired by Police, those money were given to the teachers as salary. 

Yesterday, Assam Police arrested 10 people from different district of a Jihadi network in a massive manhunt. Police said that all are linked with Ansarullah Bangla Team(ABT), a Bangladesh based islamic terror organisation, with close ties with Al-Qaeda in Indian Sub-Continent. Police suspects that the Jihadi network is much more bigger, as investigation is still continues.
