West Bengal: BJP district president made dirty remarks against Lord Balaram Dev, Bajrang Dal filed Police complaint

Police complaint filed against a district president of West Bengal BJP for hurting Hindu sentiments. And more interesting is that the complaint was filed by Bajrang Dal's district Sanjojak in Memari Police Station under Purba Bardhaman district.

According to police complaint, on 2nd of September, Bardhaman Sadar District BJP president Avijit Ta attended a meeting at Gureghar village under Jamalpur Assembly Constituency. The meeting was organised by BJP's farmer wing ‛Kishan Morcha’. While addressing the meeting, the BJP leader made obscene remarks against Lord Balaram Dev, alleged Bajrang Dal leaders of the district.

Now a video of that meeting is viral on social media. It can be clearly heard that BJP district president is saying, ‛Balaram Dev drank alcohol in every evening’. Bajrang Dal workers alleged that this remark against their belief and has hurt their sentiment.

So demanding strict legal action against the accused BJP leader, Bajrang Dal district Sanjojak Tapas Biswas filed written complaint in Memari Police station on 6th of September. Police received the complaint. But till now, there is no clarification from BJP on this matter.

TMC MLA Khokon Das lashed out at BJP and said, ‛BJP does politics on Hindu sentiments, but does not know to respect Hindu Gods. We demand strong action against him’.
